Stephen D. Phillips has served Christian Heritage Church as the Lead Pastor since July of 2002. Prior to this he served CHC in a variety of capacities including: Youth Pastor, Minister of Christian Education and Worship Leader. Following the footsteps of his father, the late Rev. Dennis Phillips (1943-2002), who served as pastor of CHC for 31 years, Stephen has dedicated his life to preaching, teaching, and reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Stephen is confident of God’s calling upon his life as pastor of CHC of Graniteville, SC and leads with vision to impact as many lives as possible throughout the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area). He received a B.S. in Religion from Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia, and a M.A. in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. He currently serves as the West Carolina District Superintendent of the Congregational Holiness Church, Inc. He and his wife, Sherry, have two sons, Caleb and Joshua.
